Det bliver fantastisk spændende at få lejlighed til at møde Dr. Paul F. Spears fra Hanover Shoe Farms, USA's største og mest berømte stutteri med avlshingste som Andover Hall, Cantab Hall, SJ's Caviar, Donerail og Donato Hanover, årets Hambletonian-favorit.

Event coordinator Norm Hall has issued a reminder that June 1 is the deadline for the registration for the Standardbred Pedigree Camp he is conducting in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The function will actually take place from June 8-10 at the Atlantic Technology Centre. Sponsored by the PEI Department of Agriculture and PEI Colt Stakes, the sponsors will welcome attendees at a lobster dinner set for Friday evening a the Best Western Hotel.
Special guest speaker will be Aage Hansen, an author and pedigree researcher from Denmark who will present a video presentation on harness racing in Sweden and Denmark.
Dr. Paul Spears of Hanover Shoe Farms will be a returnee at this year's camp along with breeders and owners already registered from across Canada and the United States. A limit of 40 attendees is in place.

2007 STANDARDBRED PEDIGREE CAMP
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island , the Kentucky of Canada, will once again be the site of the Standardbred Pedigree Camp in 2007, a unique opportunity for breeders and buyers of trotters and pacers to put the pedigree into practice to improve their percentage chance of success.
The event, which is co-sponsored by the PEI Department of Agriculture and the PEI Colt Stakes, will take place at the Atlantic Technology Centre and is slated for the second weekend in June, beginning Friday June 8th with a welcoming luncheon. The agenda will include sessions on Pedigree Basics, Stallion and Broodmare selection, and Breeding statistics. Norman Hall of Pedigree Matching and the Globetrotter pedigree program, will host the sessions with the assistance of several industry guests to be announced. Already confirmed is Aage Hansen, noted author and pedigree researcher form Denmark. Hansen is also an owner, trainer and driver of trotters and stands the stallion Progress Value at his farm in Bornholm in Denmark.
There will also be time for play including a visit to the races at the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre, a traditional Island Lobster dinner, optional visits to the Atlantic Vet College, Island breeding farms, and all the delights offered by the Garden Of The Gulf, Prince Edward Island.
Participation in this unique venture is limited to the first 40 registrants and registration must be completed by June 1st. Several of the attendees at last years inaugural Camp have already indicated they will be back for more.
Proceeds from registrations are used to support a permanent international pedigree exhibit and breeder’s resource library in Charlottetown.
